I've been creating ever since I could hold a crayon. I remember insisting my Grandmother keep every bit of fabric, and interesting piece of garbage (popsicle sticks, foil coffee packages, pretty wrapping paper, etc) so I could collage. My crafting really blossomed when my Mom got me a shoebox FULL of craft supplies for me for Christmas when I was 7 - craft paint, wooden shapes, glue, glitter, pompoms), it was amazing.

Now my craft room is just a bigger version of those early craft supply collections. I love doing everything. I thirst to learn new techniques. If I don't know it, I want to learn it. On my current "to learn" short list are welding and wood burning. I'm an "ADD Crafter", I work on one type of craft for a few weeks, then need to do something else. That's why Etsy is so wonderful, I don't have to mass produce the same thing over and over, or get stuck doing just one type of thing. I can craft as my muse so desires.
